Synchron and it's mothership, the publishing house Dyer Press, were founded in Berlin *2020, with the idea of making a fun and playful zine with emerging artists who's work we like.
We also wanted to emphasize on new currents in art, literature and subcultural practices, focussing on the unconventional.
This objective is still the same.
Founded in 2020 by two humble sinners, Shima (Japan Studies) & Johannes Farfsing (Fine Arts), Synchron is an entirely independent project in all senses:
Aesthetics, institutions, art markets, algorythms, conventions, distributors, trends and seasons do not corrupt our vision.
